Eh, if we do get to European levels...I have my cheap $2500 beater which gets 40+mpg, so while it wouldn’t be pretty, I’d weather it a lot more gracefully than a lot of my fellow Americans. That would also be the time for me to snap up every Mirage, Metro, older Civic and Corolla I could get my hands on, and make a few $$$. Maybe convert a few of the Metros to EV as well.

2.70 and counting...we were under $2.00 with the previous administration...this administration clearly has gas going the wrong way for many Americans, unless they want them to not be able to afford gas.

This assumes that there ever is a time that Democrats are not lying.

Depends on if the libs can get their job of crashing the dollar done by then. If so, you may be paying for gas (and everything else) with crypto, gold, silver, palladium, or foreign currency.

$3.59 Redmond WA. 87 octane.
Have no idea if gas is going up or down. We drive ~75mi/mn. We live in an urban area where we can walk and major shopping area a few miles away. We do public transportation also.

I do know that the price of gas is a function of supply and demand.
Go, free market, capitalism.

Looks like another gnat farted as the gas line from TX to NJ has been shut down like a clown. Expect higher prices.

I think it will continue to go up and my guess is $3.25 or more by the end of the year. I live in Florida and gas is $2.85 now . With summer coming the price of gas usually goes up because people will start going out more. Then later in the year we will see the winter blend which will again push up prices. My estimate is low. It could go higher.

I was paying between $2.05 to $2.29 which was the highest we had during the Trump years.

So what do you think your state will charge for a gallon of regular gas?
It's $4.35 here in California for the low grade 87 octane. Biden and has anti-stance on domestic oil production have cost Americans dearly.
