The left doesn’t mind “their” side lying. C’mon man……it’s politics.
Deep staters can do whatever they please…….w/o consequence.

President Biden told a heartfelt story last week about an Amtrak conductor congratulating him for riding more than 1.5 million miles – but the details of the story don't seem to add up.

What the hell he has been in the senate for 150 years, why don't you believe he had 7,000 round trips and 1.5 million miles on Amtrak over his career.
From the article:
"I got on the train and Angelo Negri came up and he goes, ‘Joey, baby,’ and he grabbed my cheek like he always did. I thought he was going to get shot. I'm serious. I said, 'No, no, he's a friend.'

"He said, 'Joey, what's the big deal? 1,300,000 miles on Air Force Two? Do you know how many miles you traveled on Amtrak?' I said, 'No, Angie, I don't know.' He gave me the calculation and he said you traveled 1,500,000 miles on Amtrak. The fact is, I'd probably take Angie's word before I'd take the word of what the article said."

Biden's comments have flown under the media radar so far. However, a few elements of the story seemed out of place. Biden entered the fourth year of his term as vice president around 2013, and Negri's obituary states he retired from Amtrak in 1993, while Biden was still a senator. Meanwhile, Biden's mother, Catherine Eugenia Finnegan, died in 2010".

Enough said!

Possible, though not likely explanation: the conductor had long since retired but happened to be riding the same train as Biden was, as a passenger, and came up to him to give him the mileage figures.

More likely explanation: Biden was lying through his teeth when he told this story.

Most likely explanation: Biden's age-addled mind cooked up this story, and he sincerely believes it, even though it didn't happen.

It appears that the fact checkers are taking a break from their job. They've only checked on biden's stories 13 times in his first 100 days vs. 52 times on Pres. Trump's.

This is the only explanation. It is sad to witness a man being treated this way by his family and the Democratic Party.

Or to the right. Let's not be naive.

The sentiment is "If it's my team doing it, it's not really that bad.", and that is almost everything that is wrong with politics.

If Joe lying about a social interaction with an AMTRAK employee is the biggest complaint, he's probably doing pretty well.

It`s hard to lie about things, when you are never allowed to open your mouth. He was allowed this one time, and look what happened.
