One has to take out a second mortgage to be able to go to the supermarket and fill up your cart.

Why is it so hard for you to believe that a President who was elected by the 'Electoral College" and lost the Popular Vote TWICE was somehow "cheated" out of the Presidency by the Democrats?
If the DEMS were that good at cheating Hillary would be into her 2nd. Term by now!

If there were a pandemic in 2016, Hillary would have won.

Well the days inn is only $48/night this week where I'm going. I love weekday trips in May and September but I've never gotten a room this cheap before so it's not all bad. I suppose I'll pay for it in gas prices. Maybe it will be quiet in all the spots I like to visit for a change.

I'm just a thrifty person. Even with money I just don't do things like mindlessly overpay for things because I have a craving. That nature bites me in the butt sometimes though, and can tend to make me feel like I don't belong in this culture full of hedonistic excesses sometimes.

Rapidly rising prices and COL will be the "new normal" for Americans- and no, their wages and salaries won't come close to keeping up. At this point, it doesn't even matter what happens with Covid...

There worst part is that there will be no relief. Like the Weimar Republic, people will foolishly demand more currency in response to the rising prices. What people don't understand is that the problem isn't a lack of currency, but a lack of purchasing power, and purchasing power can never be created out of thin air in the way that fiat currency can/is.

Elections have consequences

Just like slow Joe Biden, America is experiencing Shrinkage

Shrinkflation allows companies to increase their operating margin and profitability by reducing costs whilst maintaining sales volume, and is often used as an alternative to raising prices in line with inflation.[5] Consumer protection groups are critical of the practice.

While rising prices are likely due to a whole bunch of different factors across two administrations, lets not forget that “easy to win” tariff war that was already raising prices for stuff pre-pandemic.

Prices are rising everywhere you look

This doesn't just matter for Americans guarding their pocketbooks. Price increases are also being closely scrutinized by investors and economists, who are desperate to know: Is this a passing phenomenon as the country emerges from a once-in-a-lifetime economic shock, or a more sustained trend that evokes the 1970s?

The midterms are looking like a disaster for the democrats

To quote James Carville

“It's the economy, stupid”

The Dominion Machines will lock it up for Democrats. They have nothing to worry about.
It is full steam ahead.

Enjoy The Show
