Interesting....

Gov. DeSantis to sue CDC for shutting down American businesses during pandemic

On Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke on his early April announcement that he would be suing the Center for Disease Control for exceeding it's authority in closing American businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically the cruise line industry that is vital to Florida ports.

"Do you want one unelected bureaucracy to be able to have the power to indefinitely shut down a major industry in this country?"

Is Emperor DeSantis aware that he shut down businesses before and during the pandemic?

U.S. President Donald Trump said that what essentially is the U.S. cruise industry would shut down on Friday for 30 days at his request in a post on Twitter.

"At my request, effective midnight tonight, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and MSC have all agreed to suspend outbound cruises for thirty days. It is a great and important industry – it will be kept that way," Trump said in a Tweet.

Not sure DeSantis thought this through........

The virus was probably a hoax on the day Trump said that.

It’s hard to keep up.

Beings most of what the CDC did, or recommended, has no grounding in or proof from science... he might just have a case, depending on whether or not the judge is a leftist hack.

I dont care that its inconsistent with what DeSantis previously did. Anything that mucks up, slows down or interferes with govt plans to interfere with our daily lives is fine by me.

I guess Emperor DeSantis was following the same science on 3/16/20 when he issued this Sacred Scroll. Maybe he and Lysol Man shared the same science book.

Marx it up, DeSantis. You show 'em who owns the means of production.

The families of those who died from Covid-19 complications and those with long term health problems from the virus should sue the CDC for insisting on their own tests for the virus and getting the FDA to ensure no competitive test came on the market in the first critical weeks as the virus spread
