Agree, Israel is way too sensitive to PR and the violent terrorists around them will hate them anyway, as will the far left. Time to put national security first and manage this properly. As Margaret Thatcher would say, "this is no time to get wobbly".

IDF: Air and ground troops attacking in Gaza Strip - Jerusalem Post

Today's actions so far. It's worthy to note that the Hamas top leadership is not even in Gaza or any Palestinian area. They never are - they stay Fat and Happy sheltered away from the Chaos they bring to the people they claim to be fighting for.

Biden restored the money flow to the Palestinians, which ends up in Hamas’ hands. (Trump had cut it off.)

From the linked article:

IDF air and ground troops attacked in the Gaza Strip Thursday night, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit reported. The Israeli military has struck over 700 Hamas targets since Operation Guardians of the Walls began on Monday, including senior commanders and attack drones launched by the terror group.

In the four days since Operation Guardians of the Walls began, an operation which is 95% airstrikes, over 700 Hamas targets have been hit by the Israeli Air Force and 60 operatives including senior commanders, have been killed.
Excellent.

But with the Hamas habit of placing its rocket launchers near dense population centers, apartment buildings etc., I feel awful for the innocent people living there. Hamas counts on their deaths as a deterrent to Israel, hoping Israel won't attack them. Now Hamas attacks have increased so much, that Israel has decided to go after their military installations, rocket launchers, and senior personnel anyway, in hopes of stopping ALL the attacks.

When will we hear from the usual Israel-haters, screaming the Israel is a murderer, Israel doesn't care, and all the usual feigned outrage? Without a word, of course, about the unwilling human shields used by Hamas?

No ones going to fight Israel for the Palestinians. Because no one wants to play military games with them directly as everyone's pretty sure the US would step up.

If someone over there think they can take Israel it would be a epic misunderstanding that will end poorly for everyone involved.

Biden really screwed up by reinstating funding for UNRWA, it emboldened Hamas who would never have done this under Trump.

America started the UN, and now it must end it. It's turned into an alliance of dictators telling democracies what to do. Israel should also be able to defend itself without requests that it appease terrorists as the UN Secretary General requested. Such an impotent organization.

One thing is absolutely certain. If Trump was still the President, none of this would’ve happened. But Israel’s enemies feel emboldened by the Biden administration.

Looks like Israel hit Hamas in Tunnels where they had gone to hide. Normally they hide in Hospitals and behind children. Hamas thought Tanks and ground forces were coming after them .... instead, it was airplanes and bombs.

“Infantry, artillery, and tanks were moved towards the IDF border, and Hamas believed that Israel was about to begin a ground invasion. As a result, Hamas sent its fighters into its underground tunnel system beneath Gaza City.

On Thursday night, the IDF brought in 160 aircraft and dropped 450 bombs containing over 80 tons of explosives, hitting 150 terror targets in 35 minutes. Hamas' underground city was hit with enormous force, and the IDF collapsed the terror tunnel system, on the heads of the terrorists hiding in the tunnels.

During the attack, many kilometres of terror tunnels were destroyed. As of now, neither Israel nor Hamas is clear on the exact scope of the damage, but according to estimates, a large number of terrorists were buried in the sands beneath Gaza.”
