She is not going to win.
She got absolutely clobbered in 2017, and if she makes it to the 2nd round next year, she will lose again, even if it's against Macron.
Also, France is going the opposite way the USA is going regards policing. The French just last year made it illegal for anyone to film the police. This caused some protests and riots, especially among immigrants. The French however very much support law and order, and they rather crack some heads than allow their cities to get too out of control.
and Trump was not right wing on immigration. It is not right wing to enforce existing laws
