NYPD gay officers have been banned from NYC Pride marches. This means the LGBT movement does not want you unless you tow the leftist line. The whole movement has been exposed as being a bunch of leftist nonsense. Unless you vote Democrat, you aint black. Unless you vote Democrat, you aint gay either!

Cool, parades with no cops. Here comes the next mass shooting. Thanks libs. Making an area a "cop free zone" is the same as a "gun free zone". Idiots.

Gay pride parades have become a total nightmare... shootings, violence, etc. As a gay man I refuse to attend them, or subscribe to the theory that because I’m gay I have to be anti police. Identity politics at its best.

The decision to bar such groups from participation comes as Heritage of Pride makes efforts to greatly reduce the overall number of police and participating law enforcement from its events -- that includes the use of the NYPD that has previously partnered with the organization to provide security.

Instead, the NYPD will "provide first response and security only when absolutely necessary as mandated by city officials" and officers will be kept one block away from the march and other events whenever possible, organizers said.
So, let me get this straight.

A group of civilians, with no connection to the city government or the police, can BAN police officers from a section of public street for a certain period of time?

Did they announce that this section of street was now a CHAZ-like independent sovereign nation or something?

The Oklahoma City pride parades are always peaceful. The worst part of them is where a Christian right preacher has to be fenced in for protection to preach against the gays. But it's for the 1st Amendment.
