Wonderfully advanced. What was the last thing NASA did?

That's nice I suppose.

NASA has rovers on Mars, though I think only one is active at the moment. Other than that, I don't keep up to date on the latest work from NASA, but I'm sure they are up to something. They usually don't go launching rockets into space... Unless there is a good reason for it. That kind of stuff is expensive.

Just launched the James Webb telescope as a successor to Hubble on Christmas day.
NASA just launched the most powerful space telescope ever. Watch it here

The James Webb Space Telescope has started unfurling its giant sunshield

Is nice to see some of what Iran is doing with all of that money Obama and Biden gave them. Next let's get an update on their progress towards a nuclear weapon that Obama and Biden made possible.

You mean, either Russia, or China launched rocket into space, under Iranian nameplate? I keep forgetting, which one of them has more ties in Iran....

The Obama-Biden deal had Iran pour concrete into their only heavy-water reactor, seal off their centrifuge plants and hand over their supply of HEU for safekeeping. Former Guy of course undid that, so - I'm not sure your impression of events matches reality.

I don't think anyone with a passing interest in spaceflight would mean that. Iran has had orbital capacity on their own since 2009.

The Simorgh appears to be using a cluster of heavily redesigned North Korean engines - but as people who follow this stuff will tell you, Iranians are much better engineers. It's still a bit of a kludge, but there's no other nation - certainly neither China nor Russia - using a design like that. Anyway, sorry - facts are bad for fearmongering speculation.

After the fact, Meaning once they had the money in their account, Iran procrastinated and refused inspections.
And Opeckerhead shrugged his shoulders.

So some people are happy that a nation who openly claims to wish our destruction can put objects in space orbiting over our heads. No one has ever doubted the technological potential of the descendants of the great Persian empire. Clearly their history shows them to be an extremely capable people, it is however the current government that concerns me.
