From the article:
Wilder, who was not told what she had done specifically to violate standards, said her firing was "precipitated by an onslaught of harassment against me.”
The news leaders said sharing more information was difficult: the company does not publicly discuss personnel issues to protect the privacy of staff.
“We can assure you that much of the coverage and commentary does not accurately portray a difficult decision we did not make lightly,” the memo said.
So it is not known exactly what this person did to get fired. In all likelihood, it was a series of events that established a pattern of unacceptable behavior.
Meanwhile, this snivelling little punk is playing the victim card and trying to act like she is being persecuted for supporting the Palestinians, which does not make sense, since the Associated Press is a leftist news organization which yearns to be seen as compliant with the Democrat left's surreally absurd standards of "Politically correctness".
The article claims that Emily Wilder was "a journalist who had expressed pro-Palestinian views". It does not indicate she was fired for those.
She had also been with the AP for only two weeks, so presumably, she would have still been in her probationary period. Companies do not like to fire people and it is not known why this woman was fired, but it is almost certainly not the reason cited in the OP of this thread.
