..which is actually a good thing.

Biden will drop student loan forgiveness from next week's Budget.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ks-Budget.html

Quote:
Joe Biden campaigned on canceling up to $10,000 of debt per student

But the President appears to have dropped it from his agenda and it's reportedly been scrapped from next week's Budget

'The idea that you go to Penn and you're paying a total of 70,000 bucks a year and the public should pay for that? I don't agree,' Biden said in an interview

The move is likely to anger the leftwing of the Democrat Party, after AOC and Elizabeth Warren repeatedly pressured Biden to forgive $50,000

Good to hear.

It doesn't seem like Biden* is fulfilling many campaign promises.

I wonder how the more Left elements on Team Blue will react to Mumbles doing this.

Student loans should not be forgiven. Although I do think in the case of doctors and nurses, their loans should be forgiven because we need them. They pay an enormous amount on education for us.

Just eliminate the licensing requirement. Let the market decide.

Yet another example of MSM giving The China Puppet a free pass while he steers the USA headlong into a brick wall.

He's only fulfilling the campaign promises that will hurt Americans, like open borders. A perpetual flood of illegals to drive down wages and enough fentanyl to kill every American 10 times over would be seen as very damaging to the nation to anyone with a functioning brain. Forgiving student loans would improve the financial health of some Americans, and we simply can't have that.

I do agree that forgiving student loans is a bad idea and sets a terrible precedent for the future. If people want to go to college, that's fine. They are free to do so. No one can hold anyone back in this country. But you still have to pay your bills. Even toying with the idea of forgiving student loans is a bad idea and puts the wrong ideas in people's heads about how things should work. If you give stuff to people for free, they will stop appreciating it.

I'll give him some credit on this one, though honestly I don't know why they don't given everything else they are doing.
