This the day after the city finally grew a semblance of a backbone and took down the street barriers around GF square (its been well over a year). That alone got the woketard idiots spun up, then fed marshals (not MPD) ended up shooting a long term violent felon criminal who pointed a gun at marshals while they tried to arrest him on a warrant.
Let the riots, looting and arson begin!
RIP my hometown of Minneapolis.

The man, who was in a parked car, didn't comply with law enforcement and “produced a handgun resulting in task force members firing upon the subject,” the U.S. Marshals said in a statement. Task force members attempted life-saving measures, but he died at the scene, they said.
You mean they didn't send out the social workers to talk to this aspiring doctor? Color me astounded.
"Unrest erupts..."??? They continually use minimizing language. Sounds more like indigestion, than what it is: a riot. The man drew a gun on police who were trying to arrest him.
Oh yes. That would be the sound of more U-Haul trucks in Minneapolis loading up for Colorado and North Carolina.
I know I would be.
I met another recent transplant from Saint Paul (MPLS city sister) here in northern AZ just last week while I was car shopping.
His reason for moving? Crime and the lack of city leadership addressing it. Had an attempted carjacking in his own driveway. He had a decent salary back there, but is now selling cars.
I saw his personal car, it still had MN plates on it as he was just weeks newly moved here.

Hope he won't spread the same chaotic social policies to his new state.

I was buying a car, we didnt talk politics at all really, other than his distaste for ineffective progressive city leaders in Saint Paul, and his new love of the high desert AZ climate.
I didnt see any stickers on his car to indicate that type of short sighted idiocy. He seemed to have sense.
