Democrats have been having wet dreams about Texas since Ann Richards left office.
Richards may well be the last Democrat to EVER serve as governor of Texas. Even then, Texas went to the Republicans. The last Democrat presidential candidate to win Texas ...... Jimmy Carter in 1976.

Nah. Every state receives federal aide in one form or another.
At any rate, Texas went to Trump. Will probably go to the Red candidate again in 2024.
