Democratic Report Raises 2022 Alarms on Messaging and Voter Outreach

Democrats leftist tilt is causing concern for the 2022 midterms

A review of the 2020 election, conducted by several prominent Democratic advocacy groups, has concluded that the party is at risk of losing ground with Black, Hispanic and Asian American voters unless it does a better job presenting an economic agenda and countering Republican efforts to spread misinformation and tie all Democratic candidates to the far left.

That ship has sailed, I think.

"Far left" is a matter of opinion, I think, but when the Speaker of the House constantly supports (or even fails to rein in) those who are indisputably far left and promotes far left positions -- and when the great majority of elected Democrats support (or at least fail to condemn) far left positions, then I think that any reasonable person would conclude the the great majority of elected Democrats either actually do support such positions or they are concerned only with their political careers.

As someone who was a Democrat and voted for only Democrats from 1972 through 2008, inclusive, I don't think I will vote for another Democrat ever again, no matter what strategy they adopt.

it's kind of like more than half the GOP base thinking 1/6 is no big deal and want to reinstate Trump using Fraudits. It's the GOP that has gone off the railroad tracks.

I'm not buying it. I think the Dems need to double down, get loud and in the voter's faces with their leftward tilt.
