A system which takes away agency from blacks and re-enforces the notion that they are not in control of their own lives. Systematic Racism teaches that because of the color of your skin, you are a victim and you do not have the ability to overcome. It's always someone else's fault, you should be angry and resentful and demand others fix your problems. The locus of control is external and the internal locus has been taken away from you because someone else is always doing you wrong.

Wrong. Systemic racism is also known as institutional racism. That means there are laws on the books that treat one race different than another.

We got rid of those laws about 50 years ago.

People seem to be going around and making up their own definition for "systemic racism".

That's the whole point - sounds like it went right over your head,

These leftists are trying to get people to buy into the notion of systemic racism yet can point to no actual current system of racism. The reality is that the real systemic racism is from the left mentally beating into black people that they are not in control and preventing them from overcoming an oppression which is falsely masquerading as compassion

The only actual systemic racism i can think of - policies that are intentionally built in to favor one race over another - is affirmative action, which admits black and Latino applicants with substantially lower grades and scores than whites and Asians.

Systemic racism in 2021 is absolute nonsense that the Dems are pushing to divide and pandering to the masses to prove that they care. If they really cared about black and brown people the border would not be open to the thousands a day that are strolling through.

Do you know anyone that is a real racist? I have met maybe a handful in my life and one of them was a black guy. The majority of people do not care what someones skin tone is as long as that person is a decent human being.

I just don't understand how the Dems can tell us that racism is the number one problem in this country when a black guy was elected President twice and this was before the Dems got "cute" with their vote counting.

The only force that is oppressing and keeping black people down today is black people.

The Dems are using this threat of white supremacy as just another problem they themselves created, like global warming, that only they can fix with programs and throwing piles of money at it. The thing is racism like climate change will never end so they can use these things to distract, blame and control.

What about redlining, discrimination in hiring, segregation in hiring and school districts even discrimination in the military. Do you recall the Yonkers supreme court lawsuit.

Sounds A LOT like what the democrats have been doing since about the early 60s.

Maybe that's why they have so many problems now in Democrat-controlled cities?

Huh? Redlining was outlawed long ago; there are no policies that outline hiring discrimination (to the contrary, in many liberal areas, blacks have a decided advantage over whites); there is no such thing as segregated hiring and school districts; and the military is now going overboard to give minorities the advantage in the name of “equity.”

There is no systemic racism against blacks. All we have is anti-white discrimination when it comes to college and grad school admissions.

It’s time to stop making excuses - blaming racism - for blacks who fail to succeed. All they have to do is graduate from high school, take advantage of Pell Grants to get job training, and not have babies before marriage, and they can achieve a working or lower-middle class life, at worst, which is how most whites live.
