Poor conservatives, are your ideas not worth sharing. Don’t want to back em up when someone else disagrees? You want an echo chamber. Please plenty of opportunities to say what you think no matter where you live. You choose not to is all.
You do have an echo chamber. The entire corporate-state run media allows yours to say anything, while opposing views are met with cancel culture and even threats of violence. It's going to continue until enough of your own tribe is met with the same, as you all inevitably turn on each other.
I have many liberal friends, but here in California, I don't tell anybody that I voted for Trump, nor do I tell them that I am a conservative. People look at me and think I am a liberal anyway. lol They assume I do yoga everyday and I must be a vegetarian. I was a school athlete, but I don't do yoga, and I love my bacon. lol
I do art project with many artists for charities. These people are SUPER far left liberals. I kept my opinions to myself.
I don't feel I need to "hide". I just think it is super tacky to share your political views with strangers.
Or express them on your car, your front lawn, your cubicle at work, etc.

We have one neighbor whose front lawn became littered with signs last year, announcing what church they went to, their support of the school district, “No on Prop 1”, the “Nobody is Illegal!” sign, a Pride rainbow, and of course ... Biden signs. The neighborhood collectively laughs at this level of ideology. It’s simply obnoxious.

CD isn't just the best free speech political site, it might be the best political site on the net. Only place you know you're getting a true random sample across the US, and it's all regular people.
Conservatives: Do you self censor in places other than CD? Is free speech gone, like Trump just said? I know I do. I live in bat **** crazy Liberal Land. The people here are nuts. Conservatives are guarded. We used to think we were the only ones but now we put out feelers and connect with each other.
Can you and do you say anything you want outside of CD? Especially interested if you live in a liberal area like I do. We KNOW it's safe to talk in Florida.
I live in smalltown Nebraska. We're about 80% Republican. So it's safe here. But even on C-D there are many forums where it's not safe to be conservative.
