Mother is still PC. They are the largest subset of birthing people. A lot of people who are unhappy with the father of their child say "sperm donor" so that would be an option. Using that terminology, most sperm donors are fathers, but some are transwomen or identify in another way. All sperm donors are fathers. A man pretending to be a woman is still a man and is a father if he produces offspring.
