It has been pointed out earlier in this thread that the mob did not actually do anything threatening to the McCloskeys once inside the gate. Well of course not - they were being threatened with consequences should they do so. The McCloskeys successfully defended themselves and their property!
Gotta chuckle at what justice looks like for the privileged. Plead guilty and immediately run down and give a press conference that you'd do everything in your power to make sure any protestors you see felt in imminent danger from the courthouse steps, few months later get a pardon.
