Elections have consequences……..Electing Biden those consequences are all BAD

Biden’s America 'Standard of living is lower' in the US because of national debt: expert

The U.S. budget deficit for fiscal 2021 totaled more than $2 trillion dollars at the end of May and the president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, Maya MacGuineas, said the growing national debt threatens every American.

“I’m the king of debt. I’m great with debt. Nobody knows debt better than me...I’ve made a fortune by using debt, and if things don’t work out I renegotiate the debt. I mean, that’s a smart thing, not a stupid thing.” Donald Trump, June 22, 2016

But in the interview above, Trump wasn't done. When asked about how to renegotiate the debt, he said: “You go back and you say, hey guess what, the economy crashed; I’m going to give you back half.

Who the hell cares about the budget? We're going to have a country." Donald Trump, Jan. 17, 2020

Where was the concern about deficits when Trump was in office. Republicans make a big deal about the national debt, but yet embraced his deficits.

The record for federal deficit was set in 2020 under President Trump. It's not completely his fault since obviously covid had a lot to do with it, but to start blaming Biden for the high federal deficit six months into 2021 when the record was set by Trump in 2020 takes blind political partisanship, puddle deep thinking, or both.

It doesn't help that hundreds of billions of US dollars flow out of the country every year when illegals send money "home" via Western Union. That is money that will never be recirculated in the US.

Suddenly conservatives care about deficits. What changed?

This has nothing to do with Biden. Budget deficits haven't mattered since Clinton.

The pandemic spending would have most likely occurred regardless of who was sitting in the Oval Office.

Source? While I have no doubt illegal immigrants send money home, I doubt that's responsible for our current deficit.

Yet another example where someone starts a thread and it appears that the OP never even read the article:

The national debt now totals $28.2 trillion and will hit a record 110% of GDP at the end of fiscal 2021

Fiscal year 2021 began in October of 2020, during Trump's administration. You can't blame Joe for the current level of debt.

"But the three years, for instance, running up to [the pandemic] we borrowed almost $5 trillion when the economy was strong. There was no economic justification for that borrowing," said MacGuineas

So that's all on Trump and the GOP. Cutting taxes and raising spending results in higher debt. Who knew?

You are hearing more and more the left using the term "equity" and not "equality".

Equality, everybody has the right to try the best for themselves no matter who they are

Equity, everybody's outcome is the same, and if it isn't then it's oppression.

Equality is freedom, equity is Marxist. Every Marxist/communist nation or regime that has ever tried forced half the people to lower their standards so there was equity, because it's easier to bring some people down than lift some up.
