So did SC..about March or so is when the last of the mandates ended.
Everyone I've talked to about this - lots and lots of people - say they have been sick much less over this last year than as far back as they can remember. Most haven't been sick at all. Masks and distancing works.
And people who neither drive nor ride in automobiles are far less likely to be injured or die in automobile accidents. Life involves a certain amount of risk. Others are not obligated to adjust their behavior nor abrogate their freedoms to accommodate the dragons of fear resident in your mind. Those are yours to wrestle.
WHO has lost all authority to speak believably on this matter. China, intentionally or not, unleashed a bio weapon on the world and WHO was complicit in efforts to cover that up.
Colorado ended it’s mandates about a month ago. They’re still required in healthcare facilities but have not seen anyone else requiring them. Schools might in the fall, I sure hope not considering kids are extremely low risk for covid and considering mask interfere with learning to read, social expression etc and considering the rise in child and teen suicide attempts and depression. Balance was missing from all of this.
I am vaccinated and I still wear a mask when I am in a store. It takes ten seconds to put on and hopefully makes other people a tad more comfortable being out in public. also my understanding is that I could still be carrying the virus and might be safe from it while still spreading it. Masks are no bother to me. Your mileage my vary
Well 1/2 way vax and fam got me. I have COVID. So far oxygenation ok- but my one eye looks bad. Head hurts low grade fever. Crossing fingers. Will continue to wear masks- until we fix it. The delta strain is spreading fast . I really don’t care what people say about putting on my mask. Trying to help others not get this crap.
