that's one thing we need changed.

And you were right earlier too - Philando Castile is a real tragedy.

Police records of community complaints and discipline should be transparent. And no self identified nazi or white supremisist should be allowed to serve.
Do you disagree? Seems logical and fair to me and most people.
I think you'd find that 90%+ of folks agree in principle with 90% of what you say. I, for example, don't think you can make records of community complaints transparent/public record. But the rest? Lots of commonality.

People on this board often make excuses for police shootings. Especially if the victim is black. Well, this time trigger happy white cop shot a white kid.
What about the trigger happy black criminal that just shot the white cop IN THE HEAD in Daytona Beach?

They caught his punk a%% in Georgia too.

Is it necessary to point out that law enforcement should be held to a higher standard? Otherwise we're just at the mercy of competing gangs, one of which we hope is mostly on our side.

I don't trust USA police. I trust police in many other countries.

It's a fact, and it should not be one. So, how can that be changed?

Raw numbers are meaningless without the context of the total population.

Witness speaks out

There’s only one other person who was there that morning. Jordan King, 16, spoke to KATV off camera. He said he and Brittain had worked through the night to change the transmission on his truck so he could work that morning and drove about a mile down the

King said that after they left the auto shop, Davis pulled them over on Arkansas 89.

King said Brittain's truck wouldn’t go into park, so Brittain got out to grab a blue oil jug to put behind his truck’s tires and stop it from hitting Davis' car. According to King, Davis then fired without telling Brittain to stop or get on the ground.

Let's just say everything King says was true, just for argument's sake. The kid is stopped by the cop. The cop gets out of car and Brittain unceremoniously jumps out of his truck and races back to jam something under the back tire. Maybe the cop just saw the driver running towards him with something in his hands and the cop freaked out, and shot him. Brittain is young enough he may not have even given a thought to what his unusual actions, of running towards the officer with something in his hands, might look like to a police officer. <shrug>

The Arkansas intermediate license can be issued to teen drivers between 16 and 18 years of age. This license expires when the licensee reaches the age of 18 years old. (the deceased was 17)

When the intermediate license holder is driving:

Quote:
all passengers, including the driver must be wearing a seat belt at all times.

the use of a cellular phone or other interactive wireless device while driving is prohibited except for emergency purposes.

intermediate license holders under the age of 18 must have an adult with them when they drive for the first 6 months after receiving their intermediate license or until they reach 18 years of age.

Wee hours of the morning?

Let's wait on toxicology reports.
Let's wait on background checks.
Let's wait for body cam videos.
Let's wait for other videos.

Let's just wait and let justice run it's course.

Setting cities on fire serves you nothing except
having to travel longer to get your milk and bread.
Average gang banger is 15 years old. Favored by gangs because they can use these kids to commit murder and get out of jail at 18 or 21. As a teen records locked, repeat offenders get to kill again with one done for free.

BLM has inflamed the situation and the call to kill cops is loud and clear. This puts cops on edge. As cops are prosecuted for doing their job, no cop ever wants to shoot anyone!

More often rumors and lies by media and activists about the shooting fan the flames and the mob believes the worst w/o ever having the facts.

Apparently it is far beyond comprehension that resisting arrest or taunting as if the perp had a gun will result in a bad outcome. Moreso as activists and terror groups like BLM create such an explosive environment. Cops are suffering ptsd as so many are killed because of the lies the media and activists spread.

About time the media and prospective perps were required to know the legal/common sense basics, what do most shooting have in common, RESISTING ARREST!
