Too many USA police have the attitude of "Stop!" "BANG" "or I'll shoot".
I am a senior, white, male. I don't trust the police in the USA. I trust police in Canada, Germany, Ireland and Britain, and even in Mexico, all countries I frequent and drive in. I don't fear being stopped in a traffic stop in any of those countries. I am concerned being stopped in the USA.
The USA police have done this to themselves. Always excuses, and always too fast too shoot.
Would it make sense to assume that you believe the cops have a majority that are always too fast to shoot? Or is it 1/3? 1/4? 1/10?
What % of police encounters, with Black people, result in a police firearm being discharged?

The fact is that a person is much more likely to be shot by police in the USA than almost any other country. And it is the most of any first world country, by exponentially large numbers.
Brazil – 6,160
Venezuela – 5,287
Philippines – 3,451
India - 1,731
Syria – 1,497
United States – 1,099
Nigeria – 841
El Salvador - 609
Afghanistan – 606
Pakistan – 495
Sure is a sharp contrast in media coverage to this white teen being shot that has a job works hard and was doing the right thing, compared to career criminal blacks that are even armed when shot. Seems white people are just not cared about except by a few friends and family.
Odd times. Just do a search on the victim's name and you get old stories and no one cares at all. If it was a gangbanger that just got back from a drive by shooting like in my city people would protest for months if not years!!!!
Seems like a whole of white people are somehow convinced that the polices is, somehow, on their side.
Here's an off-duty cop following a teenager's car to a pizzeria, cutting him off and jumping out (not in uniform) - firearm out immediately and - well, BLAMBLAMBLAM because the teenager , quite rationally, tried to get away from the roid-raging guy with the gun.
But no worries - he's on "administrative leave" while the DA puts the victim's life under microscope for some sort of justification. And the teenager's car has been impounded, of course.

Brittain is young enough he may not have even given a thought to what his unusual actions, of running towards the officer with something in his hands, might look like to a police officer. <shrug>
Amazing that this is even a concern. It's like the warning signs at Yellowstone at this point - "How not to provoke the wildlife."
Police are out of control. This time shooting an innocent WHITE teenager.
The entire premise is wrong. There is no such thing as an "innocent white teenager" or innocent white anyone, for that matter. Just being white is to be guilty of unspeakable crimes against humanity.

It is impressive how you managed to nail yourself to that cross. The third nail has to be the difficult one, right?

Isn't it also a fact that US police are "much more likely" to be shot by members of the public?
I actually never ever in my life have. And I am very well travelled and have a giant social circle and read a lot of newspapers daily and am in nyc at least once a week.
If you think that is common knowledge I can understand why you get so much wrong.
