Only 46.7 percent of the entire US population is vaccinated as we fully reopen in July.
Meh ... That's 154M people. Add in the 78M who are under 17 and you get 232M who are protected. The rest of the people don't want to be vaccinated.

We're good. Don't worry about it. Go back to work.

Sounds like there’s been a total lack of leadership from the harris/biden regime to vaccinate the USA.

Total failures.

It would be more correct to say over 60% have immunity.

It's over 70% in Massachusetts. I don't think many tourists will come here either.

That was 1 infected person from China got on the ship. A lot of people didn't come in contact with an infectious person. Anyone who caught it wasn't infectious for at least 3 days. 700+ infections is a lot to come from one person in a couple of weeks.

And add in the 35 million who tested positive?

Fully vaccinated rates vary considerably by state and within state.

As of a few days ago, 65.59% of Vermont was fully vaccinated while only 29.76% in Mississippi.

With a few exceptions, fully vaccinated rates seem to align with the political leanings of the most and least fully vaccinated states.

I will not be too surprised if there is another surge of a variant, come 4 th quarter. I hope I am wrong.

But isn't that why Biden was elected? To save the world from COVID? I was under the impression that nobody would have died from COVID had Trump not been President.

Correct... and that includes Fraudci and all the other "experts" that were advising Trump.

It seems like most of the country is already fully open or on the verge of fully re-opening this coming first week of July.

Yet, only 46.7 percent of the TOTAL US population is fully vaccinated. If you include the illegal population, my guess it that less than 45 percent of the US resident population is fully vaccinated. Would not be surprised if another 1-2 percent managed to get fake vaccines per my conversation with some anti-vaxxers. And perhaps some vaccines were stored improperly on purpose (several such cases in the news) and then still used.

https://www.mayoclinic.org/coronavir...accine-tracker

At my parents' senior center, 15 percent of members have refused the vaccine. Very surprising, as even I am okay with over 80-year olds getting the vaccine in order to help more rapid advances in mRNA science. Hopefully, they are already at the end of their lives when the long-terms side effects come.

It seems like the only hope they now have is if they require injections at all kindergartens, elementary schools, high schools, colleges and universities. I assume that this will not be possible in some states such as FL and TX?

What your numbers do not include is the number of people who have immunity from recovering from infection. To get a full picture of the situation we would have to test every American for antibodies.
