Indeed it does. Sex always sells - especially when you show it over and over.

In truth I have not nearly so much a problem with him featuring sex and sin - it's just that it's so two-faced to USE IT and then condemn it while you're USING IT to boost your ratings.

If you're going to be pimp, you should at least be honest about it.

Ken

And, anyone can sue anyone. Heck - someone can sue you and accuse you of all sorts of ugly things.

The judgment is what means something - not the filing of a lawsuit
Than you agree the 'filing a lawsuit is NOT meaningless' if the person, such as O'Reilly, is making sexually derogatory remarks to a female.

Listen to NPR and hear how they treat ALL of their guests, conservative or liberal. All Bill O'Reilly does is make the world more polarized and biased.

Well, that is why you should listen to NPR and those who like BO should tune him in. It's called free speech and it applies to all not just those the left agree with. Use you channel changer, it's your friend.

He says he didn't. She says he did.

I (nor you) were not there to determine if he did, or did not, make such a statement. You are allowing your BIAS and BIGOTRY to make the judgment though -

So - what happened to the lawsuit??????

Oh - why didn't you also mention that O'Reilly SUED the woman?

They sued each other - and the settlement was sealed.

You're assuming guilt and suggesting that because another poster has not assumed the same that the poster supports the behavior in the accusation? Wow!

"O'Reilly lawyer Ronald Green had said he believed there were tapes of conversations between the two and asked a court to compel Mackris to produce them so they could be played publicly."

"Shortly before "Factor" aired, O'Reilly's lawyer Green, issued a statement saying the cases and claims had been withdrawn and all parties agreed there was no wrongdoing by O'Reilly, Mackris or Mackris' lawyer Benedict Morelli."

O'Reilly Settles Sex Harass Suit, Lawyers For Fox News Announce Settlement With Fox Producer - CBS News

I wasn't there and do not know what happened. I am certainly not going to convict him given that, the countersuit, and what transpired with the settlement.

Unforturnately that is the way it goes. If someone likes a person who does something wrong, then they think of every excuse to make up for that person to somehow excuse it. But then if someone was accused of the same act, that a person doesn't like, then they are guilty.

ORiley could careless as long as he remains the most poplular cable commentator on the air. Oberman knows this and tries to take advanatge. All these shows are geared to the true believers that like to get worked up on both sides.Kind of play to the angry mobs and then go to the bank.
