This battle never happened. In 2015, a reporter for the New York Times informed Trump that historians regarded his plaque as a fabrication. “How would they know that?” he responded. “Were they there?”

Sounds like a gross exaggeration.

The Second Battle of Dranesville was there, but it had 13 killed and 30 wounded, which by civil war standards was a minor skirmish. It was also spread out over the course of miles.

The article should have mentioned that there was a grain of truth to it.

......During this part of his life.

Too bad he couldn't come to a religious conclusion that might be consistent with that....ever asking god for forgiveness.

At least he didn't lie about that . He's never claimed that he's ever asked god for forgiveness.

He makes a shamble of everything he touches, says, or does. None of it matters as long as Trump emerges as a perfect man in all of them.

But this plaque sure reminds me of Sarah Palin making up history to suit herself.

God bless her. A least she had the good sense to know when to quit.

He's either managed to truly hoodwink a bunch of the people who voted for him or....he hasn't but those people so agree with some of what he says and some of his views, that they will go to the ends of the earth to keep defending him.

The KKK was stared by DEMS!

Jim Crow was a DEM.

A high official of the KKK was a U.S Senator voted in by DEMS.
