It doesnt matter that some people are over the top in constructing strawmen in regards to a door to door vaccine salesforce. Bottom line is, the implementation of any such big Pharma salesforce is wrong on its face.
The word is and has been out on "the vaccine" for sometime already and millions are rejecting it. There is no need to push it further.

People have been educated about the virus, no need to force a vaccine on the unwilling. Why are the illegal immigrants free to roam the country unchecked and unvaccinated?
Instead use the money to hire police officers to patrol the crime ridden cities. This administration wants to control everyone but the criminals. We are living in bizarro world.

This statement is a prime example of why there is such a divide in this nation right now. Because you live in Long Island in your world people don’t answer doors but in all the parts of America I have lived everyone opens their door, depending on the time of day. We live in two different Americas. I understand folks who live in urban areas experience a different reality but it seems to me that those urban dwellers don’t get that the rest of us have a different reality. The issue for us in last couple of decades is that you urban dwellers are the ones making most of the rules.
What makes the door knocking a dumb idea is based on who isn’t getting vaccinated:
It won’t work in inner city areas, particularly minority neighborhoods, for the reason you’ve given, they aren’t going to answer the door to either strangers or someone who looks like they’re from a government agency.
It won’t work in rural areas because the distance from one home to the next will make it too time intense to be practical - we are discussing between 2-4 homes an hour....maybe.
If the rural folks do open the door they’ll either slam the door as soon as they find out why they are there or more likely they’ll politely listen, smile, nod their head, take the papers then close the door and deposit the papers in the garbage can or burn pile.
The problem is the people coming up with these ideas don’t have the above life experiences, and their demographics don’t need people knocking on doors:
It might work in college dorms but there are easier, much more effective way to accomplish the same thing - as in ‘no jab, no dorm’.
The people in suburbia are getting vaccinated.

Taxpayers on the hook to hire or contract workers to go to extreme means when before the election dems would not dare go door to door to recruit voters, didn;t need them since they rigged the election.
Questions why is the goverment so rabid about getting the experimental vaccine whose safety profile is unknown. What do they know about the vaccine or the disease that they are not telling us.
As the media is not standing up for the people and questioning the government we have to bridge the lack of media curiosity with our own theories.
Smallpox and polio vaccines were not addressed this way.
Vaccine approved by FDA for lyme disease in humans was taken off the market. Quite common for FDA approved drugs to be removed from market after post marketing date comes in.
The stuff of science fiction where a government pushed to have all its citizens injected with an experimental drug whose safety profile is unknown. Who would not be hesitant, especially when the media cuts off all discussion. If that isn't a red flag nothing is. We see science corrupted by untrustworthy politicians and we are to not be on guard. We are responsible for our own safety and health, not some socialist bureaucrat or grant sucking 'pseudo-scientist; or university.

They are the most stupid people on the planet making people afraid of a vaccine! Most people had their babies shot up to get their immunizations done before school started, until some dumb idiot drew a political line. The repugs want you dead or left with some disabilities. Never seen something so insane. And yes, the red team has not vaccinated compared to the blue team, but sure can run around unmasked and unvaccinated and infect them. Grow up already!!!
An overwhelming majority of the population have been vaccinated for measles, polio, smallpox, diptheria, annual flu, etc., but here you are implying that same population is political, stupid or idiotic for refusing to have this one unproven experimental chemical injected into their body that may or may not work any better than their own bodies immune system.
