Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is the first Democrat governor to announce sending troops to the southern border. The governors of Texas and Arizona requested help dealing with the Biden border crisis via a letter sent to all governors yet only a few Republican governors have answered their pleas for help. Evers is committing to send 125 National Guardsmen to the border. The question that Wisconsin Republicans have is, why now?

Evers is a worthless governor, but I will give him credit for doing this. The ONLY reason he's doing it is that he's up for re-election and knows he's going to get fired.

125 is better than none but what will they really be doing? It is not like they will be patrolling the border with loaded rifles to repel the invaders but instead they will more than likely be helping "migrants" up the bank of the Rio Grande and marching through the desert looking for children that have been left to die by the people that used them.

It is amazing that Tony Evers has bucked his party and recognized the real dangers we face with having an open border now if only he could convince Biden who has his head in the sand.
