Oh the horror if we taught actual history instead of whitewashing it. I mean its not like anything bad could happen by ignoring history right? Its not like there isn't LITERALLY a saying about repeating it.

This notion, that the history of slavery, Jim Crow, etc. isn't taught is one of the most egregious instances of gaslighting we've seen lately.
