Yeah, if the person is single.

If they have a spouse or kids or both, IMO, it’s a selfish choice.

But why not give yourself the best odds ?

To be able to flip the bird at people who are trying to get you to get vaccinated/‘pressure’ you into something?

Or do you see it as being able to flip the bird at the government for trying to get you yo do something?

I don’t know if either of those reasons are part of your reasoning but, for people adopting that reasoning…IMO…that is a childish attitude.
Which is anecdotal. And you don’t know if your dad had not done those good things if he would have died earlier.

Exactly, life is a gamble and none of us are getting out of this alive.

Why does this have to be about "flipping the bird" at the government or others ? It about choice, and peoples ability to make them. Don't want to get vaccinated, don't. Want to, then go ahead.

And look how many on the left are buying it? Lol. Have people really lost that much ability to have intelligent thought?
Are you vaccinated ?

If not, do you perceive ‘the government’ to be ‘an bunch of liberals’ ?

If so, would your reason for not getting the vaccine be to flip the bird at liberals ?

It’s a choice, but there is a motivation, an impetus, a reasoning behind choices…….and there are different levels of how much sense different reasoning makes.

It still boils down to each person and how they decide to make their own choices. What motivates one person, won't another.

I've been told I'm crazy to jump in a boat and go 90-100mph. I know others that would love to have the opportunity. To each their own.

I believe that person thinks getting covid and dying from it is proof the vaccine doesn’t work.

No one ever claimed the vaccine was 100% effective. It greatly reduces severe cases and death.

It's unfortunate. There have been several reports of people who have gotten seriously ill with COVID and regret not getting the vaccine.

Why play Russian Roulette? The vaccines may not be 100% effective, but why wouldn't you want to have as much protection as you possibly can?

Anecdotal evidence has suddenly taken on enormous value, in the minds of the covid-crazy. Anyone else notice that?
