Luciana Alvarado is using her historic Olympic appearance to promote equality with a tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Alvarado is the first gymnast from Costa Rica to qualify for the Olympics. The 18-year-old ended the country's first-ever qualifying floor routine in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics gymnastics competition by taking a knee, placing her left hand behind her back and raising her right hand into a fist toward the sky.

Thanks, now I feel less bad for nerd-ing out over the MLB trade deadline than watching the Olympics.

Translation: Costa Rican gymnast incorporates black supremacist terrorist tribute and her support for 2.5 billion dollars worth of lost property, business, and life into her routine.

Could she have given a bigger middle finger to the people who suffered through the attacks, riots, and secessions/treason of last summer? That particular organization is particularly loathsome, since they sail under false colors. It's good to see that the moron supports terrorism and racism and wants to make sure the world knows it.

My cousin and I, we both do it in our routines,” she said. “And I feel like if you do something that brings everyone together, you know, and you see that here, like 'Yes, you're one of mine, you understand things', the importance of everyone treated with respect and dignity and everyone having the same rights because we're all the same and we're all beautiful and amazing so I think that's why I love to have it in my routine and I love that my little cousin does it on her routine too.
BLM makes it very clear that they are talking about Black lives. They are not about bringing everyone together.

But perhaps the BLM protests were tame compared to her own Country last year.

But we won't be seeing that routine again..she didn't make it into the finals.

BLM woke stuff are mainly relagated to 5 eyes or chiefly the 5 white Anglo nations and sometimes south Africa. None of these stuff appear in low end Anglo nations like that in the Caribbean, or even Latin speaking nations if not barely reserved in upper echolons of the elite class. Kind of like how the common man and woman in the Anglosphere practiced Victorian culture, but in Brazil or Argentina, the common man or woman did not except for the upper class. The Antiracism movements were big in united states as well as in Canada and the UK.

I don't watch the olympics just because of it being political. I will no longer watch the NFL either.

Lol it's 2021, BLM barely gets much coverage in the US anymore. They've outlived their usefulness.
