They already know there is and have known almost since the beginning stages of the pandemic. 98% of those who require hospitalization early on were vitamin D deficient. That’s all you need to know. Lol pretty obvious there’s a direct correlation.
Funny how you never hear one word from your government, how losing weight, keeping your vitamin D levels in range, reduce your risk of death by 99%. They won’t tell you that because they have an agenda.
Not true. Over several months and particularly earlier in the pandemic I have heard government officials state that many who've died were vitamin D deficient and that those over weight are dying in high proportions. Many many times.
i wonder if these studies have to do with selling more vitiaims
No, studies on vitamin D go back a long way.
Being out in the sun is the natural way to get vitamin D.
But now, the sun is bad and people slather SPF 9000 on them before they go out and avoid the sun as much as possible so now most are deficient in vitamin D.
So these anti vaxx folks promote protections to covid which have not even undergone clinical trials but refuse a vaccine that has and has been proven overall safe.

Older folks may remember the days of a "spoonful of cod liver oil" in the winter.

The immune system defends the body from foreign, invading organisms, promoting protective immunity while maintaining tolerance to self. The implications of vitamin D deficiency on the immune system have become clearer in recent years and in the context of vitamin D deficiency, there appears to be an increased susceptibility to infection and a diathesis, in a genetically susceptible host to autoimmunity
For those who want to take Vitamin D, take it with a meal, and do not take it at night before bedtime. Reasons are your body absorbs V-D better with a meal. Also, Vitamin D depletes melatonin in which it could disrupt your sleep.

Lol, look at you. You posted b.s. and you were called out on it, so now you dig yourself in deeper by putting words in my mouth.
I had never claimed, as a fact or not, that "not getting vaccinated and taking vitamins is at least 95% effective against covid". Meanwhile, you certainly stated as a fact that the "vaccine has been proven overall safe" and you refuse to back it up, because you know full well that you cannot prove what you say unless there are 2-15 year trials for the vaccine. Were you intentionally lying or were you just throwing something out there just to be able make a post?

ewwww, nasty, nasty, tasting stuff.
My mother was a cod liver oil enthusiast. But I have to admit that when I was a child we, all of us in our family, rarely got colds. When I was a teen I stopped taking it and I started getting colds more often.
