Weird that you read this as an attack on the flag and not an attack on nationalism.

Seriously, if these people hate the country why don't they move? I mean we have so many illegal aliens that love it here and it would be great to have those that hate the country leave. They can go to Guatemala.

If I hated it here, I would try and live elsewhere where I was proud the wave the flag.

According to CRT we're supposed to see William Rhoden as black first, ESPN journalist second, human being third. That's certainly how he sees himself after radicalization by Biden's campaign and BLM. And they were told that Republicans are all white and all racists.

An ESPN sportswriter said Monday he couldn't enjoy the opening ceremonies of the Tokyo Olympics because the presence of the American flag reminded him of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and the "rise of white nationalism."

Liberal "Undefeated" scribe William Rhoden said on "CBS This Morning" that he had enjoyed covering the Olympics during his long career but felt differently in 2021.

"I love the opening ceremonies, march of countries. Then I realized, you know, man, particularly after these last four years, I had it wrong. Nationalism is not good. We've seen the rise of white nationalism. Nationalism is not good," he said in a clip flagged by NewsBusters. "And also, this whole idea — I keep thinking back on the Capitol riots, and I saw a lot of, you know, U.S. flags."
Sounds like an ESPN writer chose to share TMI- his personal opinion.

Comes off as highly inappropriate.

"I think we should be humbled. You know, I mean, this whole last year in this country — it's about entitlement and privilege. Nobody epitomizes that more than basketball," he said, adding he still felt the team would win gold.
When you look at the USA Basketball roster you have to wonder if he sees the irony in using Basketball to try and make his point about "white nationalism", entitlement, and privilege?

I had no idea that the United States was the only country in the world whose citizens actually prefer their country to others . . . in other words, whose citizens are nationalists.

Maybe if we yell loud enough for faithless electors, scream not my president and call the lack of popular vote win result an "illegitimate election" we can feel better?

Give me a break, I hold no love for the losers that Trump suckered to go to the capitol with his BS but this is nothing but an excuse to try to drag this into every discussion instead of oh...reporting on the olympics.

I have a feeling that this dude is just riding the woke wave. He's old enough to know better. He should understand and be able to see that there is no huge problem with white nationalism.

ESPN has been getting more and more left leaning and he's probably just going with all of that. I'm not sure if I tune into a sports network that I'd want to get blasted with politics. I'm not a sports guy but I just want entertainment to be simple entertainment, everything now has to get politicized and it's getting exhausting.

Can't we just have some mindless entertainment without someone attempting to preach or browbeat you?
