It's like buying a yellow Corvette.

After you get one, you notice every yellow Corvette on the road.

They've always been there.

The difference is a yellow Corvette now has special significance, so you notice them.

Wildfires fit the narrative that the world is warming and making wildfires more common.

This makes you and other warmers assign special significance to something that has always been there.

We had warming that included massive droughts in the 1930s, but no one blamed global warming because we still had air pollution, water pollution, nuclear winter and acid rain to keep hippies minds occupied,

After the Cold War ended, the enviro-nazis needed to invent a new problem to justify all the stupid bull **** they wanted to force down our throats.

Nah, you believe in scientists, but only certain ones. The ones which are approved by the people who control the public discussion.

Science isn't a belief system. You don't "believe in" science. You "believe in" things which you can't prove through.... (drum roll)..... science, so by saying you "believe in science," you're really saying that you don't understand the science and you're taking the word of someone else on it.

Religions are belief systems, by the way. Cults are belief systems. Science isn't a belief system.

This has been the case in California for decades. People have been complaining about the environmentalists not allowing the state to do basic forest management since I was a little kid, and I'm 50 now.

Everyone in California knows this. It's no secret. But in typical California fashion, the politicians ignore the problems their state faces in favor of playing power politics and personally enriching themselves.

Not good in the USA either. 100 large fires have burned 1,947,811 acres (3 043.4 square miles) in 14 states...

So not only is weather now categorized as climate, but fires and floods are now climate too?

When people alter the land, home building and electrical transmission lines encroach into forests and prairies, and they reroute rivers, create damns and man-made lakes, is that climate too?

If I gave the white coat guys a 100 million to drop global temp .01 degree in six months they couldn't do it........
Even AOC's campaign manager admitted it was a ruse to take over the economy.

People choose to live in environmentally sensitive areas dominated by preservationists vs conservationists.

Preservationists 'preserve', do not alter the environment, making it unsafe and susceptible to fire.

climate changing as it always has done on the earth. So what?

We either adapt or disappear. Only a fool would claim the climate can be reversed or otherwise altered. Only a mentally diminished egotist would make such a claim.

It does no good to fall for government scams which claim they will reverse the earth's dynamic nature of change.

the biggest scam is that the government will somehow stop and reverse the earth's overcharging nature.

The government can't even run its finances let alone the earth's forces.

The environment deserves respect, not the hysterical end of the world claim.

note that the US government socialists claim every issue with which they oppose, is existential. Hate and fear mongering vs balanced discussion. To hear the words, "the science is settled" is a red flag, a blaring siren warming us the speaker is a charlatan with nefarious intent.

Thank for reminding me of Bjorn Lomborg.

In a 2010 report in The Guardian, Lomborg acknowledged that global warming is “a challenge that humanity must confront.” Lomborg goes as far as calling for a carbon tax and a $100 billion investment in clean technologies.

However, in his new book Smart Solutions to Climate Change, Lomborg argues that it would be too expensive to implement any major carbon reduction policy, and that “drastic carbon cuts would be the poorest way to respond to global warming.

Lomborg has promoted the controversial idea of geo-engineering to address climate change. In one instance, Lomborg envisioned a fleet of 1900 robotic ships that will patrol the ocean while releasing spouts of ocean water to reflect the sun’s rays in an attempt to reduce global warming.

Climate change is a genuine problem that will eventually be a net detriment to society. Gradually rising temperatures across decades will increase the number of hot days and heat waves. If humans make no attempts whatsoever to adapt—a curious assumption that the report inexplicably relies on almost throughout—the total number of heat-related deaths will rise

Sounds a bit like a flip flopping nut job to me.

If you are a scientist you have an unhealthy bias.
