It's not just about death. Children are accounting for 15% of all newly reported COVID-19 in the US. Nearly 94,000 child cases of COVID-19 were recorded last week, a 31% increase over the roughly 72,000 cases reported a week earlier. In the week before then, there were 39,000 new child cases. Pediatric hospitals are filling up, which means means if a child was involved in a serious car accident or had a life threatening injury, their may not be room for them at the hospital. And depending on where you like, there may not be room at any nearby hospitals either.
Even for mild cases that don't require hospitalization, that still means 2 weeks of being quarantined. 2 weeks of missing school, not seeing friends or family, not being able to leave the house... Even being in contact with an infected person could mean two weeks of missed school, unless both parties are masked.
But I am curious, if 178 children dying isn't a concern, what number of deaths would be?

Serious question for you. If we reduced the speed limit to 15 mph, it would save the lives of far more than 178 children. Are you for reducing the speed limit to 15 mph?

There have been way more than 178 kids who have committed suicide or overdosed because of the Covidiots and their restrictions. Where is your empathy for them? Any remorse for being complicit in making those outcomes happen?

Even if kids (or anyone) doesn’t die, people never bring up the other long term effects of covid. They just say, well “X number of people survived so no big deal.†They usually lie about that number too. They don’t mention the kids and young people who survive but have chronic lung damage, cardiac inflammation, systemic inflammation, loss of senses, “long covidâ€, neurological deficits, clotting disorders, and a host of other problems.

That's a laugh. All you and your kind have done since the pandemic started is use it to score political points. You don't give a damn about kids. You want them to wear snot-soaked rags all day long because you're scared of getting sick.
I am convinced that most people DON'T read anything except Facebook posts and the covers of magazines while standing in the checkout line, and they only listen to news blurbs. "COVID deaths reach unprecedented levels in [fill-in-the-state]!! News at 11."
And others do not understand percentages and/or they care more about the one-in-10,000 kids dying than they do about the 99% that are having their education and mental health severely and negatively affected. And many of those people also think that those of us who care more about the 99% than the 1% are just some kind of human monsters -- and that does not even mention them screaming about people "wanting to kill Granny". Well, they are welcome to their opinions, but I'm not buying it for even one single millisecond.

One band director and a 13 year old were both vaccinated and both got Covid and died.
If these damn vaccines actually worked, MAYBE there wouldn't be as much resistance against them.
