Covid cases were higher in December under anti-immigration Trump. I'm not convinced there is much of an impact compared to other factors like natural immunity, weather and vaccination rates.

Even if Covid didn't exist the problem illegal immigration is still a problem.
If it wasn't , it wouldn't be illegal.
Of course it exists, and it always will exist. The question is, what to do about it? Biden's response is to do nothing, send his wife out to speak Spanish to encourage them, etc. That response has led to significantly higher rates of illegal immigration compared to the previous administration, as one would expect.

That is why we are having this discussion. It is now, more important than ever to reduce the flow of illegal immigration, for the well being of every American citizen. But POTUS Joe Biden doesn't seem to think so.
The strange thing is, Joe Biden is doing the exact opposite of most leaders around the world by encouraging illegal immigration. I thought democrats wanted to be like the rest of the world???

They always paint themselves into a corner with their toxic over reactions to what many others just deem common sense.
They spent years bashing Trump/pubs over illegal immigration and other policies that to come out and even remotely say otherwise is career suicide. Even if they agree with it,..they can't because they'll be associated with doing something Trump wants.
They are a slave to the mob they enabled and have no control of the wheel so they just ride it out and live behind their cushy walls.
There was a press conference with the Homeland Security Secretary. It was only on Fox News. Not on CNN or MSNBC. They were stating that July numbers up 13% since June and the highest in 20 years. It’s a national crisis due to Covid. Why isn’t anything done about this? Or is it simply not true and Fox News is fear mongering? I don’t believe that but I think many do.
Be it Border Patrol or Homeland Security, the top brass thinks Democrats are out to cut their funding, so they always juice the numbers in a Democratic administration to get more funding, to get their base riled up, to give their comrades at the GOP something to pounce the table on if the Democrats ever cut their budget.
Then they fudge the numbers to make it look good during a Republican administration, since they have no fear the GOP would cut their funding and to reward the GOP.
This is nothing new. There is no border crisis. There is only politics. If illegals are flooding our streets, we here in CA would be the first to notice and we've seen nothing out of the ordinary.

You don't know what you are talking about! It's been all over the news that around 1 million illegal aliens have crossed our border since Biden took charge. No, most of the illegals in our country haven't been visa over stayers they were border jumpers. There are only about 700,000 visa over stayers in our country at any given time while we have always had millions of border jumpers here. Try and stay on topic will you?
Stop with the Covid nonsense. EVERY single country in the north american continent has lower covid rate then us except 2 small countries with less then 200K residents.
I view illegal immigrants as a serious issue, that needs to be fixed. The current setup isnt working. Under Trump it hasnt worked, under Obama it hasnt worked. We need a solution. We cant go hiring these people, and then making them illegals. Its insane. we need solutions not hatred filled rhetoric.
