A young, white teacher stood up in front of the insane school board and quit her job because she was being forced to push political agendas (transgender crap, preferred pronouns, and other things a normal person would not have even thought about five years ago). It was an emotional statement on her part - she had to love teaching because she wouldn't have been doing it if she didn't. She certainly didn't choose that profession because of money.
I applaud her. It took a lot of guts to stand up there and do that. She should sue the hell out of the school system. What they're doing is entirely asinine.
She shouldn’t have quit, she’s just going to replaced by one of their fat, angry, white male hating sycophants. Instead of this nice pretty lady teaching their kids, they’ll hire a bitter, blue-haired orca.

Sadly her speech was very likely lost on the Board Members. As soon as the session ended they were probably High-Fiving each other saying "One Down...".
I wish she hadn't quit but make them fire her when she refuses to teach CRT in her class. And THEN sue them for racial discrimination because she is "white".
According to the article, the teacher quit because she was made to carry out policies that “do not square with who I am as a believer in Christ.” She said she opposes the policy on trans because “it’s against my religion “.
Well, good riddance! If she wants a job where she can push her religious beliefs, then she should get a job at a parochial school. Her leaving is good for everyone, including her.
That was SO HARD to listen to, especially when she was crying at the end when she said I quit.
I'm sure she's a good teacher, and cares about her students. The pendulum will swing back. It always does.
I have a family member telling me the same, but I don't know about this.
