Silly Americans.
That’s what this is all about.
It’s the whole purpose of this disaster.
I mean really, “China Joe”, if that doesn’t tell you everything then, well whatever. Figure it out.
This isn’t a blunder. This was calculated to aid China in taking Taiwan.
It’s not conspiracy kookiness, it’s business. Just ask Nance and Joe.

Chinese state media uses Afghanistan disaster to justify takeover of Taiwan

Beijing announced their intentions of having a friendly, amicable relationship with the Taliban, which took over Afghanistan over the weekend in light of the US withdrawal from that nation. State-run media reports that the disaster in Afghanistan should be a warning to Taiwan that the US will not help them should China seek to overtake the island.

During the first quarter, 2020 the Trump Admin negotiated a full withdrawal of troops with the Taliban. Trump boasted about having had a phone convo with a Taliban leader. All but 6000 troops were withdrawn by 2020 year end and Trump strongly encouraged pulling the remainder out by May, 2021.

Biden was and remains in a no win situation, given the majority of troops had already been withdrawn before he took office.

At late as April, Trump said all troops should be withdrawn by 5/1.

Despite having legitimized the Taliban, the former Trump Admin seems intent on forgetting how we got to “ right now”.

And no surprise, amnesia is contagious and the Trump base has been infected with it.

China makes everything, and cheaply.
Afghanistan needs everything, and cheaply.

China is preparing to send merchants to Afghanistan, not soldiers.

There is no reason for Taiwanese not to deal with rich China, either.

China legitimized the Taliban by meeting with them on diplomatic terms. The Taliban truly doesn't need the USA to legitimize them, as there are plenty of other countries willing to do that just to spite the USA and especially Biden, the weakest USA president in the history of our nation. I'm just glad dementia is not contagious...

Another poster who doesn't understand what the issue is but has to bring Trump into it even though he had nothing to do with the execution of this withdrawal. .

That was a LONG time ago. In this modern era and with China enjoying economic growth etc. it would be pretty difficult for them domestically to have to endure the crushing sanctions, economic damage and loss of life like they did back post WW2.
