The Biden Afghanistan debacle….. the gift that keeps on giving
Billions in US weaponry seized by Taliban
Billions of dollars of U.S. weapons are now in the hands of the Taliban following the quick collapse of Afghan security forces that were trained to use the military equipment.
Among the items seized by the Taliban are Black Hawk helicopters and A-29 Super Tucano attack aircraft.
This is what happens when you have two people who are unfit for office in the highest positions in the world.
Trump was a "meanie" so we had to "elect" a guy with dementia, and a VP that couldn't even make through her own state's primary because she's a black female.
I’m curious to see what happens. Will we destroy it all? We will negotiate teams to go in and bring the aircraft and drones out?
I think the M-4s and the ammo will stay in the hands of the Taliban. They’ll probably retain a certain amount of humvees, too.
I think we won’t let them keep any aircraft or high dollar things like MRAPS.
But if we did let them keep them, obviously they’d all fall into disrepair and be useless. Unless another country went in and maintained it for them, which is highly unlikely.
I started a thread on the planes that were seized, and read reports of B-52s heading over there to destroy the planes... that got absorbed in the sticky thread.
#BREAKING: #USAF's B-52H heavy bombers have headed toward Mazar-i-Sharif. It is highly possible that they bomb the second largest air base of #Afghanistan National Air Force now in hands of #Taliban. They don't want A-29B & AC-208B attack aircraft remain in hands of Taliban
So I had not seen seen any activity, and then saw this from the same person.
Last night, #USAF was about to bomb the sensitive assets of #Afghanistan National Air Force captured by #Taliban in Mazar-i-Sharif including at-least six to seven A-29B Super Tucano attack aircraft but they didn't get approval in last minute. Taliban has now all of them!
We not only abandoned thousands of people who are now on their own and facing a terrible fate but we also ensured that the Taliban will be stronger than ever before by supplying them with tons of military equipment.
