Why do so many critique on words and not content and actions? (CNN, biased)

On CNN commentators saying that Biden showed a lot of compassion today. Do they not know that it can all be phony, rehearsed, that he is told to try a different strategy? Or they know and just deflect. They don’t seem to talk about what he said that isn’t true but how he said it.

What do you expect? News and social platforms are extremely biased and pro liberal they will protect their weak and wounded at all costs. It's called saving face.

Thats always been a big difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals are more concerned with words then with actions. I am pretty middle of the road but these days would be branded as conservative but once upon a time most of my friends were extremely liberal hippy types. And they always seemed to believe bad actions by those who said the right words was simply caused by misunderstanding or someone manipulated them. But if you said bad things and did nothing wrong it was only because you were biding your time or more likely you were guilty but just not caught yet. Trump is a prime example of this doesn't matter how many theories and accusations fall apart he said things they hate therefore he must be "guilty" he is just getting away with it because of his money and power.
