It seems about once a week there's a story on Amren about a Chinese spy in the U.S. being caught, and given how inept U.S. law enforcement is, I wonder how many thousands go uncaught every week, steadily siphoning U.S. knowledge back to their mother land.

McLEAN, Va. (AP) — A New Orleans furniture salesman pleaded guilty Tuesday to spying for the Chinese government and providing Beijing with secret information on military relations between the U.S. and Taiwan.

Tai Shen Kuo, a naturalized U.S. citizen with prominent family connections in Taiwan, provided gambling money and promises of a job to a Defense Department analyst who gave him classified information in 2007.

He was "naturalized" -- what a joke. But alas, in post-American America we define "American" by possessing certain pieces of paper. Hooray for diversity...

The United States has operatives and spies in EVERY nation on this planet. Why should we flip out when another countries spies are found within our own borders? Sure it raises questions, but we do the same thing to other countries.

No other country admits as many immigrants as the U.S. It's too much, and this is yet another reason. Particularly in the case of China, where the only technology they haven't stolen from somebody else is that of the abacus and fireworks.

Furthermore, we don't steal a great deal of our technology from other nations. Our spies probably spend most of their time trying to figure out what's been stolen from the U.S., rather than stealing new technology.
