Adoption is a solution if you don’t want to parent. It isn’t a solution if you don’t want to be pregnant, gestate for 9 months labor and deliver. Many women who abort don’t want to be pregnant. Women are not brood mares for other women who can’t have a child herself.
Comparing a woman to a brood mare because we are both are mammals and both can get pregnant and give birth is not helping anything.
In the scenario I posited, the state is the one who wants the child to exist, not the woman. All the “ITS MURDER!” screechers could also be required to pay for and raise any unwanted child, I’d be fine with that too.
As ridiculous as the ability to slaughter your child for convenience? Give me a break.
I never had kids, I took the necessary precautions, (condoms and confirming the female was also using birth control), so that I was responsible for my actions.
I would have supported a child or taken it to raise if I'd had one. I made that decison prior to beginning my amourous adventures.
I would never condone butchering a child for convenience.
I keep thinking about the scared 13 year old who’d been raped repeatedly by her father. She was too afraid to tell anyone & no idea she was pregnant until she was many weeks beyond 6. I met her when I was prosecuting her rapist. TX would force her to carry that pregnancy to term.

Nor is all saying abortion is murder but there you go. I can say it more politely. Women shouldn’t have to, nor be any expected to, labor and deliver an unwanted pregnancy, giving the baby up to people who who want to adopt. It’s solely the woman’s choice.
Definite action/reaction situation. Don't do the action you won't have the reaction.
Saying yes to sex isn’t saying yes to pregnancy and parenthood. Don’t like abortion don’t have one. Men mind your own sperm. Women can mind their own uterus.
