Biden Ignored Johnson's calls for 3 straight days and had ignored his emergency calls for 36 straight hours when Afghanistan blew up and Biden was on vacay taking naps and eating ice cream snacks.

Johnson is now calling Biden "sleepy joe" and other British officials are calling Biden senile.

The relationship has had its ups and downs, but we must be careful to not let Biden destroy the relationship with our best ally.

It's not just the UK.

Afghanistan was the Germans first major combat mission since WW2 and they are dismayed at how it has turned out.

Afghanistan was suppose to show how NATO can operate successfully on the global stage and counter terrorist threats.

It's now being cited as the end of NATO by many in the media.

The French who left Afghanistan after Enduring Freedom ended in 2014, are using it as an opportunity for Europe to move away from the US and to form ever closer European forces, and this has been French policy for numerous decades.

Britain will do it's best to try and repair relations in the longer term, however the credibility of the US has taken a knock, and Americas enemies now see a potential weakness at the heart of US politics and foreign policy.

Just can't win....

They didn't like Trump, now they don't like Biden. Many didn't like Bush or Obama. Is the last president they liked Bill Clinton?

With the 3 ring circus clown show currently defiling our White House and Capitol, I would imagine ALL our relationships are strained worldwide.

No sane countries want to touch this mess with a 2,000 mile pole.

It's not a case of not liking Biden, it's a case of an ill thought out withdrawal, with no consultation with partners.

If that's how allies are treat then they will have reservations.

In terms of Trump, he mainly had a go at Germany over defence spending and Nord Stream 2, however the Germans just shrugged it off.

The problem now is allies may think twice before supporting the US in any future action.

Strained? That’s an understatement. The UK parliament voted to hold the POTUS in contempt. Anyone care to guess the last time that happened?

Biden, in one idiotic decision, set foreign relations back across the board. But hey, no more mean tweets, right?
