You conservatives are only Pro Life until the fetus is born...then you don't want anything to do w/ them.
It's no ones responsibility to support any other people's kids except for the parents of the child and it has nothing to do with being pro-life. How about not having sex unless you are protected? My, that's a novel idea, isn't it? And using birth control correctly does prevent a pregnancy.
Easier said than done, when you are raped...or when a relative forces themself on you, or your boyfriend forces himself on you....
Or when a Doctor tells you that the baby will die soon after being born because of a defect the baby is going to be born with out a brain or a spinal cord, and that every moment of it's life will be excruciating torture, but on the upside it will only live a few minutes or hours of enduring pain...and it might even kill you in the process leaving your five other children without a Mother.
Not everyone has regular periods, some are not going to know that soon, if they are pregnant.
Middle class women and rich women will just go to another state or country to have the procedure done...poor women will have no choice.
Some of them will be forced back into a world of back alley abortions. Some will abandon their baby in dumpsters or rest rooms. You cannot force someone to be a Mother. You are ushering in so much more pain and death in the world, and you are taking away so much freedom. So much for talk of a 'smaller Government' you are wanting to force your morality, your religion and your believes on to another.

Excuses, excuses but your scenarios are the exception to the rule. Most pregnancies result from carelessness not the pictures you have painted. You know where you can stick your "what ifs".
Many times a woman, especially someone w/out access to get medical care doesn't even know she's pregnant until it's too late to get the procedure if it's banned after 6 weeks.

Actually, knowing they can't get an abortion might make them more responsible by not having unprotected sex in the first place or they will have to go to another state to get one.
