Whatever the far left did out west in their riots was mostly done by outsiders like Antifa. Their looting and rioting affected the locals.
What the rioters did Jan 6th affected every single American because it was done against ALL of us. They broke into a building that represents all Americans and they were a threat to the democracy that belongs to ALL of us. They were trying to kill members of Congress--that would affect ALL of us. And that's a major reason why the insurrection was worse than any riot that affected store owners out west. Jan 6th was done against every American citizen.
Falls flat when you realize the riots were supported by the Democrat Party, including the current vice-president, who promoted a fund to bail out rioters who were attacking American citizens.
The riots had an imprimatur from the Party, it was sanctioned, supported.
