Vote counting redundancy is the ONLY way there is even a chance at voter integrity. Why?
Imagine the most secure form of voting possible. Everyone is in person and their vote is recorded for all to see, with photo. Let's imagine we go the stadium route. All have to sit in a seat and raise their hand (or not) for their choice and a picture is taken. This could be cheated by photoshoping.
Let's imagine all submit a photo of themselves individually some how showing their results clearly (maybe holding up a ballot or just their hand up or not). This can be cheated also with photoshop or adding "fake" people.
So how can even the two most secure forms of voting be cheated and where is their common fault point. SINGLE POINT / AUTHORITY OF VOTE COUNTING!
So long as only one authority is counting the votes, at the end of the day, NO MATTER THE SYSTEM! The counters can rig it in some way or another.
THE ONLY ONLY ONLY WAY OR CHANCE AT A FAIR ELECTION IS REDUNDANCY VOTE COUNTING!
Ie in the stadium example, if 5 different, independent authorities took their own pictures and the results from all had to legally match up then no single vote counting group could rig their results anymore.
Only a fool would believe there is no voter fraud. Another fool would believe three people caught in voter fraud meant only three people in the entire state committed voter fraud. Truth is voter fraud happens in every election and the few who are caught means many more didn’t get caught. Ballot harvesting is practically state government sanctioned voter fraud. Voter registration outside of an approved government office is another form of voter fraud. Nursing homes are another source of voter fraud (employee fills out absentee ballots for their patients then mails them in). Having paper ballots filled out in advance with only one vote for a particular candidate is another voter fraud. Those ballots are held in a location and if it looks like the candidate may possibly lose the election then those ballots are “found” then added to the count. Here’s one form of voter fraud I was a victim of. I was in the Navy and sent an application to vote while at sea. The state put the ballot in the mail on the very last day required by law. How was this a form of voter fraud? The ballot had to be returned by a particular date in order to be counted. By mailing it out so late they ensured my vote would not arrive in time to be counted. Another form of voter fraud is being registered to vote in more than one state and voting in all those states in a presidential election.
