what you DID see were the two guys who restored and improved the taliban to pre 911 levels. They erased the effort of 20 years of spilled American blood and taxpayer cash.

That's what politicians do. Every single one of them, on both sides. Let me ask you this. Politicians from both parties have been criticized for not showing up at the site of disasters - hurricanes, floods, etc. - even though they are of no help being their and, in fact, their presence disrupts actual rescue efforts. Yet we, The United States of Idiots insist they be there anyway. So, do tell, why do you have a problem with Trump showing up at an NYPD precinct to acknowledge the contributions of officers during a historical disaster?
As easily as it is for some people to state what they feel or think happens I can do the same.

No mention of also taking the opportunity that day to visit with some local first responders, etc.
