What?? Wait until the social media crew hears about this!
My neighbor voted for Trump and has an American flag out front, and she does take this antifreeze stuff, she must be crazy.

It’s true. He said it. Because the media said so.
And he said to drink iodine and take horse deworming pills. At least I’m sure he probably did.
It was all Trump! Trump! Trump!

Too bad Jim Jones did his thing in the late 70's and not now. They would have been able to blame President Trump for that too and not the nutjob that all the top demolib leadership in San Francisco completely adored.

Oops! I forgot to post the rest of the story.

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a biocompatible, synthetic, hydrophilic polyether compound that has many applications, mostly in the medical industry, but also in the chemical and industrial sectors. The structure of the compound is known as H−(O−CH2−CH2)n−OH.

PEGs (polyethylene glycols) are petroleum-based compounds

Polyethylene Glycol is made by polymerising ethylene glycol, the main ingredient in antifreeze solutions, and has a strong presence in the medical industry

INGREDIENTS INCLUDED
IN COVID-19 VACCINES

The following is a list of ingredients for the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Janssen COVID-19 vaccines
reported in the prescribing information for each vaccine.*

The information was retrieved on June 24, 2021 from
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-1...tml#Appendix-C.
*None of the vaccines contain eggs, gelatin, latex, or preservatives. All COVID-19 vaccines are free from metals such as iron, nickel, cobalt, lithium, rare earth alloys
or any manufactured products such as microelectronics, electrodes, carbon nanotubes, or nanowire semiconductors.

Note: Both the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines contain polyethylene glycol (PEG). PEG is a primary ingredient in osmotic laxatives and oral
bowel preparations for colonoscopy procedures, an inactive ingredient or excipient in many medications, and is used in a process called “pegylation” to improve
the therapeutic activity of some medications (including certain chemotherapeutics). Additionally, cross-reactive hypersensitivity between PEG and polysorbates
(included as an excipient in some vaccines and other therapeutic agents) can occur. Information on active or inactive ingredients for vaccines and medications
can be found in the package insert. CDC’s vaccine excipient summary and the National Institutes of Health DailyMed database can also be used as a resource.

Before one makes light of what someone else may be taking, one had better be certain they can identify all the ingredients in the vaccines and their range of other uses. For example:

Ethyl alcohol, also known as ethanol, is the most well-known alcohol. It’s the type of alcohol people consume in alcoholic beverages. Ethyl alcohol is a common addition to motor fuels. More than 98 percent of gasoline in the United States contains ethyl alcohol.
(It is an ingredient in the vaccine.)

An uninformed self appointed guru could say anyone taking the vaccine may as well be drinking gasoline, injecting anti freeze or taking a laxative to prevent Covid. That would make as much sense as the 'horse dewormer' or 'gargling iodine' comments. They all are ridiculous.

People should live and let live rather than thinking they are experts on everything....or anything.

Some of y'all still swear to it as gospel.

Sadly, even as crazily dishonest as a lot of these media fabrications are like Trump supposedly telling people to drink bleach, the intellectual dishonesty from so called medical "experts" and those claiming to be "following the science" in the media tried to make the claim that a medication that has been used safely and was deemed safe by the FDA decades ago (hydroxychloroquine) was deemed "dangerous" as if it was cyanide or something. These same "scientists" justified large gatherings of hundreds of protestors packed tightly together based on "the science" that white supremacy was a bigger health threat in this country than the Covid virus. A group of scientists literally made that argument based on "the science". The same people are now claiming that Ivermectin is dangerous despite the drug earning its inventors a Nobel Peace Prize in 2015. Yet now even the human version of the drug is mocked by haters as "horse dewormer". That's how bad the dishonesty has become.

Probably anti-vaxxers reasoned saying they gargled with Listerine three times a day to prevent covid would not go viral, so they figured using iodine would.

No wonder some people have bad reactions to the covid vaccines. That is a long list of ingredients to possibly be severely allergic to.

Same thing.

It's a stupid tax for dumb people. Walgreens lists an 8 oz bottle of 10% Betadine for 12.50 or an 8 oz bottle of .5% Betadine for 10.49. If you really want the gargle because you have a wild idea that because iodine is a good general disinfectant it's the new miracle COVID cure, it's not going to do anything all that terrible. Probably won't doing anything at all but God knows people need to hop from supposed miracle cure to miracle cure. Probably not great to drink the stuff but also probably better than fish bowl cleaner.
