If we had a flashing red light alarm here, it would be going off on the results from the latest poll in Iowa. The new poll is absolutely devastating for Democrats hoping to retain control of the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2022 mid-term elections. After only eight months in office, Joe Biden has botched things up so badly that he is polling worse than either Trump or Obama ever did in Iowa.

Veteran pollster J. Ann Selzer notes that everything Biden touches turns to crap right now. “This is a bad poll for Joe Biden, and it’s playing out in everything that he touches right now,” Selzer told the Des Moines Register. How bad are Biden’s numbers? Biden’s overall approval number is below the lowest ever measured by Selzer – just 31%.

Here's some good news. What a disaster the Biden administration has turned out to be. All in just 8 short months.

I used to live there and will be retiring back there in about five years.

Iowans tend to have an above average IQ (103) which is why their sometimes voting for democrats has perplexed me.

However, it is obvious that Iowans ARE intelligent and have woken up to the tyranny of liberalism. Now they just need to legalize full auto weapons before I move back...........................

I am really surprised that Biden's approval is more than 20%. He has managed to disgust republicans, dems, and independents. The only people who like him are brain washed far left liberals who have vacated objective thought and reason.

The one Democrat from Iowa in Congress is toast. She might as well retire now.

There's a surprise. It won't be just Iowa for long. Would it do any good to say "we told you so"?

The people in control of the corpse of Joe Biden might dump a few million migrants in Iowa, give them 2 votes each and call it good.

IQ<>common sense.

Here in Washington state we have tons of brainiacs working at Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Since the rise of the tech industry, however, WA has turned increasingly blue. Seattle has socialists on the city council, and the eastside suburbs that were red 20 years ago are now solid blue.

I recall seeing that a lot of farms are being bought up by corps and wealthy folks - a lot are already corporate owned, though they still try to milk the family farm thing when it's time to lobby. Assuming that's not mistaken, I wonder how familiar the folks on the ground are, and if there are concerns about it.

Iowa seems to have quietly been trending red. Trump won Iowa in 2020 53-44, which is a landslide by today's standards.

I was shocked recently to learn that IA now has constitutional carry (no permit required to carry a handgun). That's a sure indicator of a state that is strongly red.
