Exactly. fetal homicide laws criminalize the killing of a fetus, not its mother.

Either way, the act of killing is done by a third party (not a doctor selected by the mom), thus not the same as abortion. Fetal homicide is not abortion.
A doctor is a third party. And due to the 14th Amendment's Equal protection Clause, doctors are not immune to laws applied to everyone else that criminalize killing a fetus. You can't carve out an exception that allows some but not others to kill. That's unconstitutional.

If you aren’t prepared to raise a baby don’t have one night stands. If you do, use birth control. It’s available on every corner.

Who stood up for the baby’s rights? Sound like selfish people…what’s good for me without any responsibility.

Not always, and it's impossible to predict the exceptions.

There is no health benefit to FGM in any part of the world.
The issue is violating Constitutional Rights: First Amendment, Religion, and the Rights of a protected class: National Origin.

If state laws banning FGM are allowed, then state laws restricting/banning abortion have to be allowed.

The babies born into broken households can’t speak for themselves either. I don’t see you speaking for them or helping them once they’re out of the woman.

Its not the babies fault that rape was how it was conceived, and should definitely not be used to justify an abortion...

The baby is STILL half the mothers too!!! (many do not factor this in)

Has it escaped your attention that people from broken households have thrived and excelled? Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, for example. Both became POTUS of a World Superpower.

Well, apparently women who decide to have abortions because of rape factor this in.

The exceptions are exactly why a woman should be able to make her own choice.

There is no violation of Constitutional Rights regarding FGM except in your imagination.

You would be laughed out of court if they even opened the door to you presenting such a case.

The whole idea you are presenting is a joke.

However, if the man doesn't want to be a father, he still has to support the person born for 18 years, if the woman chooses to give birth.

So should a man have say in this? Is it fair that he can't opt out if he wishes?

Discuss!

On the face of it, no.

BUT...........if one goes around asking others to support their cause, to give donations, to vote for their candidate on these issues......then they do have a say.

Interestingly, some studies have shown that male relatives of rapists and other sexual assaulters have a 40% increase in risk for engaging in the same type criminal behavior.

Maybe women don't want to risk raising a child that doesn't fall too far from the tree.
