There is legitimately something wrong with these people. They have NO problem spending other people's money as recklessly as they do. They need to go, ALL of them.

It's clear their focus group didn't want to give them a blank check either.

And yet they keep getting voted back into office over and over and over again.

A government is a reflection of it's people.

The people don't care.
And Congress knows it.

All the promises of "tax the rich" that Biden made are falling on deaf ears.
Just wait until this spending bill passes and people find out what is in it.

Rich are getting breaks, businesses are getting breaks and the middle class are getting taxes.

Does it really matter at this point?

I mean it's not like we're ever going to pay it back....

Might as well make it 5 trillion....or 10...

What's the difference when all it really is is an excuse for Dems to raise taxes and redistribute other people's money?

'we have to pass the bill to find out what's in it, so let's not talk about how many trillions of dollars we're throwing away'

I guess we'll have to pass it to see what's in it. ...Again.

The folks I know who voted for Biden and still support him simply refuse to acknowledge facts. Dems think that they're going to pay for all of this with increased taxes on corporations and the rich. Corporations will simply pass on those taxes to consumers via higher prices and the rich will find a way to not pay more. Dems love to point out the high tax rates for the rich in the past, but don't realize that the higher tax rates didn't produce additional revenue. It's obvious how all of this will be paid for because we're already seeing it: inflation. In a way, that's probably a good thing because everyone will have skin in the game - including the 50% of the population currently not paying any Federal income tax. The irony, of course, is that this reckless spending will impact lower incomes more severely than the wealthy. Dems know this, but they're counting on their voting base to be too stupid to understand. So far, they've been right.

Corporations and the rich are getting breaks. It was in the CARES bill and it's also in this spending bill.
The middle class will get hit with stealth taxes.

Most people will not read the bill; they will read the MSM's cherry picking points.
