Cleverly taking on the perceived risks while getting none of the actual benefits. It's the same reason I pay registration on my car and then throw away the paperwork. (Can't burn it - air quality rules.)
You MAY get slightly less sick from COVID than everyone else. That's been my experience with vaccinated people. They were no more or less sick than I was when I had COVID, and I wasn't vaccinated.
A copy will be sent to your doctor. Because of the rule that President Obama signed, every doctor's record has been digitized. I hate it. It's a vast invasion of privacy with these tech companies having access to everybody's medical records like this.
So would they know more about you than just whether you got the vax? I'm trying to understand why this would be an issue for vaccinated people too.

I don't know about other states, but Louisiana has an app for drivers licenses. I have it, it states that I'm vaccinated and also has a gold star, for REAL ID or something. Just to prove that I'm an American citizen.

I already added mine. Kind of cool, actually. I imagine it wont be long before I need to show it to get into concerts, sporting events, etc., so this makes it easier.

Yeah, I put that badly. I was thinking of the benefits of the card.
The benefits of lower risk of getting and - God forbid - spreading a pretty serious disease are, I guess, pretty much to be taken as given in my value system.
